Danish Visitors
On Monday September 7th fifteen students and two teachers from Ryslinge Fnskole in Denmark visited Avondale Community College. The group were on a cultural tour of Ireland following some of the routes travelled by the Vikings over one thousand years ago. As part of this tour they visited Avondale Community College to get a brief insight into Irish school life. Over the course of their visit they were given a tour of the school and briefly attended some classes in order to sample the classroom experience of our students. The visitors were then treated to some lunch and also some traditional Irish dancing and music.
