Sixth Year Parent Teacher Meeting
A reminder to all parents and guardians that the Sixth Year Parent Teacher meeting will take place in the school on Monday 14 December from 1.30 to 3.30 p.m. We look forward to seeing all parents and guardians at this time.
Football
Congratulations to our U14 Football Team for their excellent win over Hacketstown on Wednesday. They have now secured a place in the South Leinster Finals. Best wishes to all.
Basketball
Congratulations to the U16 and U19 Boy’s Basketball Teams who are now through to the South Leinster Semi-Finals. Best wishes to all.
Carol Service
The school choir will be holding a Carol Service in the school on Tuesday, 15 December at 7 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Better Options 09
A Careers Fair will be held in UCD on Thursday December 10 for senior students with disabilities or specific learning difficulties. This is a very informative event which we hope will be of benefit to some students.
Ice-skating 09
Second and Third Year students are looking forward to Christmas on Ice in the RDS this Thursday.
Dáil Visit
As part of their CSPE Action Project our Third Year Students will travel to the Dáil on Thursday. As this is Budget Day the students are looking forward to the visit and have prepared a number of interesting questions for various ministers.
First Year Party
On Friday afternoon our First Year Students enjoyed a party held in their honour to congratulate them for being the top collectors in this year’s Sponsored Walk. The student’s spent the last two classes munching on a number of treats while listening to music and chatting with friends.
Trans News
Transition Year Students have been busy working on their projects for the VEC Environmental Awards. The students have submitted a total of five projects one of which includes Conserving the landscape through education. Best wishes to all.
Trans Trip
Our Transition Year Students enjoyed a trip to the Wax Museum on Friday. Ms. Gahan and Ms. Eagan supervised the excursion and a great time was had by all!
