Farwell Father Crotty
Students and staff came together on Friday to extend their thanks and best wishes to Father Crotty who has been the school's chaplain for many years. We are very sad to see him go but we wish him the very best of luck in his new position in the Glendalough Parish.

Parents Council AGM
The Annual General Meeting of the Parents Council will take place in the school on Monday 16th of November at 7.30p.m

Pre-Mock Exams
The Pre-Mocks examinations for Leaving Certificate Students will begin on Monday, November 16th. Best wishes to all.

Shoe Box Appeal
Many thanks to all first year students who took part in the Christmas Child Shoe Box campaign. Their gifts will be greatly appreciated by those who receive them at Christmas.

Sports
Basketball
This week has been exceptionally good for sports. Congratulations to the U19 Girls Basketball team for their great win over St. David's Greystones. Congratulations must also be extended to both the U16 and U19 Boys for their win over Bridgetown. The U16 Boys team will play against Arklow on Wednesday.
Football
Well done to our senior football team for their win over Coláiste Raithín in the first round of the league.



Camogie
Best wishes to our Senior Camogie Team who will take on Dunlavin in the first round of the league.


GAA Table Quiz
Congratulations to Ms.Kelleher's Quiz Teams who
came third in the GAA Table Quiz which was held in Aughrim as part of the 125th anniversary celebrations.

Trans News
Well to all our Transition Year Students who stepped out into the working world as part of their Work Experience Module. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the employers for providing these students with valuable work experience.

TY Litter Police
The Litter Police made up of a group Transition Year Students have been patrolling the school halls in search of litter offenders. Their purpose is to promote the proper use of bins as part of the Green Schools Campaign.

Interactive Open Days
Staff and students alike are busy preparing for the interactive open days which will take place on Monday, November 30th and Tuesday, December 1st.

Library
A reminder to all students that the school library is now open at lunchtime.
