LEAVING CERT RESULTS
Congratulations to our Leaving Certificate students on their excellent Leaving Certificate examination results. Most students were extremely happy with their results and many have attained the required points for their future college/university careers.
Those students are currently accepting CAO and college offers. Best wishes from everyone at Avondale Community College to our Leaving Certificate students on their future careers either at college or in the world of work.


WELCOME BACK
Welcome back to everyone returning to Avondale Community College and to all new staff members joining us this year. In particular a warm welcome to first year students starting at Avondale Community College this year.

Our first year induction this year began with an adventure day at Baltinglass and Lough Dan on Monday 25th August. Thanks to all
those involved with the preparation for the day and to the first year team who accompanied the students. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day

LEAVING CERT CLASSES 2009/2010
Incoming 6th year students are preparing for their futures with their upcoming trip to the Higher Options. They will soon have their motivational meeting with Ms. Lillis, our Guidance teacher and Ms. O'Neill, our Principal. Our students find this a great help in focusing their attention on their studies and contributes greatly to both their long-term and short-term plans.
