MOCK EXAMS
Students and staff are busy preparing for the Third and Sixth Year Mock Exams will begin on Wednesday 10 February. Best wishes to all involved.


WEEKEND STUDY
A reminder to all Sixth Year students that the school is now open on Saturdays for any senior student who wishes to partake in study from 10 am until 4 pm. Many thanks to our Parents who are helping out.
Evening study is also available in the school for all exam students.


HELPING HAITI
Well done to all students and staff who participated in Wednesday's Non-Uniform Day and raised money for Haiti. So far we have raised over €700. The money will be sent to CONCERN who has been established in Haiti for many years and are dedicated to improving the lives of its people.


VEC FOOTBALL VICTORY
Congratulations to the Co. Wicklow VEC Team for their excellent victory over Dublin on Saturday. They are now through to the Leinster Final. Team members from Avondale Community College include James Byrne (Captain), Stephen O'Neill, Steve Olohan, Dylan Doran, Pádraig Geoghegan, Barry Vickers, Denis Heffernan and Conor McGraynor.

MENTAL HEALTH PUBLIC SPEAKING

Well done to Amy Kenny, Laura Cullen and Conor McGraynor for their excellent performance in the Mental Health Public Speaking County Final, which took place in the Grand Hotel on Thursday.
Our students spoke well on the night however both the De La Salle College and ourselves conceded to a strong team from Abbey Community College.
Well done to all involved and best wishes to the County Finalists.


BASKETBALL
The First and Second Year Girl's Basketball league begins next week and we will play the Abbey Community College in the first round. Best wishes to all!
